Two of Leslie Nichols' works are currently on display in the Red Clay Survey, a major recurring regional competition sponsored by the Huntsville Museum of Art. The exhibition “takes the pulse” of contemporary Southern art every three years. The exhibition recognizes and encourages excellence, and provides a permanent record of the development of regional art through the publication of a comprehensive, award winning catalog. The exhibition is open May 20 – September 16, 2012
